"Shrewsbury through the Artist's Eyes"
COMING THIS FALL
We are proud to present our 2009 spring art exhibit.  “Three Boston Artist,
Drawn Together” will feature the art of three professional artists who attended
the Vesper School of Art in Boston together during the late 60s.  John M.
Gaston of Shrewsbury, MA,  Lee Surette of Needham, MA, and Susan Day of
Yamhill, OR (originally from Northborough)  will be displaying recent works in the
gallery and hosting an artists’ reception on Sunday May 17th at 4pm.  Public
welcome.

The artists have collaborated on a piece of art that will be available as a very
limited signed giclee print.  Proceeds from the purchase of the prints will be
donated to
SHARP (Shrewsbury ARt Partners).  The first print in the series will
be raffled off the night of the reception.  Tickets are $10 each.  In addition, 5%
of all purchases of original art made the night of the reception will be donated to
SHARP.

CONGRATULATIONS to George Kazmarick of Worcester on winning the signed
print in the fund raising raffle.  Thank you to all who participated.  We
successfully raised $230 for SHARP.
In early spring of 2009 Gastonart & Frame hosted the Member's only exhibition
recent work with an image themed around the Town of Shrewsbury.  An artists'
reception was held on the night of April 22nd and the attendants were treated to
eighteen wonderful pieces of art, food, drink, and stimulating conversation.
